Panth Rattan Late Jathedar Gurcharan Singh Tohra was a great visionary who understood the importance of Education. He was more concerned about the welfare of an average farmer, worker or land labourer since the children of such people didn’t have access to even primary education.

In order to impart quality education at affordable cost to the children of the common people of the area, Jathedar Tohra founded Baba Zorawar Singh Baba Fateh SinghEducation Trust in 1985. Philanthropists of the area liberally contributed for this cause & BZSFS public senior secondary school, Manji Sahib Kottan was established in 1998. The trustees included Jathedar Gurcharan Singh Tohra as its founder President, S. Kirpal Singh Libra as the Chairman & S. Sukhdev Singh Libra (Ex-M.P.) (School Chairman).

The school is named after the younger sahibzadas of Tenth Master, Guru Gobind Singh Ji who were bricked alive for the cause of Truth, Justice and fight against Tyranny. The school is located near Historical Gurudwara Shri Manji Sahib Kottan.

The school was established in 1998. In the beginning it was started in the langar hall of Gurduwara Shri Manji Sahib Kottan & in October 2005 a new separate well furnished building was constructed for this purpose. In which school is running smoothly.

B.Z.S.F.S. Sr. Sec. Public School Manji Sahib Kottan is an English Medium Co-Education Institution affiliated to Punjab School Education Board, Mohali. The School is running Arts and Commerce Streams up to 10+2 level both for boys and girls. The school is running well under the trust of Baba Zorawar Singh Fateh Singh educational society Fatehgarh Sahib.

After the unfortunate demise of Panth Rattan Jathedar Gurcharan Singh Tohra, S. Kirpal Singh Libra Ex-MLA was unanimously elected as President of the Trust. The school, on the one hand aims at producing ideal citizens & on the other hand it has been making efforts to enlighten its students about the Sikh heritage, traditions, history and religion.

Due to the sudden & untimely demise of S.Kirpal Singh Libra on 7th May, 2007. Sardar Amrinder Singh Libra has been elected unanimously as President of the Trust.

S. Amrinder Singh Libra is a suave gentleman with positive outlook. Under his able stewardship the school is on the path of progress in each and every sphere aspect.
